For this sewing/volume school project, I was asked to work on the upcycling technique. The aim was to rework old coats found at thrift stores into a creative, sculptural jacket.I wanted to work on volume contrasts by creating a rather straight, strict suit in rigid wool with a textile work of pleats and smoke on shiny satin.
