During one semester as a Teaching Assistant alongside professors in Stop Motion Animation and Costume Design, I supported students throughout the development of their projects while creating my own stop-motion character.
From concept to completion, I designed and fabricated an articulated puppet using a wire armature, padding and faux fur, before designing and constructing a bespoke miniature costume. To showcase the final result, I created a short stop-motion animation bringing the character to life.
This meticulous project combined puppet fabrication, miniature costume construction and character design through the creation of a miniature cat chef.
