During my fashion design studies, I was introduced to volume through paper before starting to work with fabric. I chose to use vintage green and white paper, perforated and embellished with small numbers. I pleated my paper very finely to make it easier to work with. This project was carried out on a couture bust in order to understand the molding technique.
